If so, the PEITSC’s new Find Your Drive program just might be for you! Designed to address the industry’s urgent need for drivers, FYD provides successful applicants with 80% of their tuition costs for the industry-standard 12-week Class 1A driver training course, a living allowance to support students while in school and a post-training, paid work placement with an island-based industry employer.
Open to all Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents, the FYD program welcomes any applicant who possesses a clean driving record, has no criminal record, can pass a driver medical exam and can complete an essential skills assessment.
